We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer with strong experience in embedded firmware development, hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification for microcontroller- and SoC-based products.
Experience: 5–15 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and debug embedded firmware using C/C++.
- Develop firmware for RTOS and bare-metal platforms.
- Develop and integrate peripheral drivers and communication interfaces including:
- SPI
- I2C
- UART
- CAN
- ADC
- Develop and maintain bootloaders and low-level firmware components.
- Perform hardware bring-up, board debugging, and system integration.
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD, and other debugging tools.
- Develop unit tests and support automated software verification.
- Perform static code analysis and follow MISRA coding guidelines.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Create software design documentation and maintain traceability aligned with IEC 62304.
- Troubleshoot complex firmware and system-level issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++
- Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar RTOS.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, SoCs, peripherals, and communication protocols.
- Experience with hardware bring-up and embedded debugging.
- Knowledge of low-power embedded design.
- Experience with Git/version-control systems.
- Familiarity with CI and automated build/test environments.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience developing software for medical devices or other safety-critical products.
- Knowledge of IEC 62304 and regulated software development processes.
- Experience with MISRA compliance and static-analysis tools.
