Interview Role: Email Marketing Executive

Role Overview The Email Marketing Executive role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that support business development, brand awareness, and client engagement initiatives.

The role involves developing targeted email campaigns, managing audience segmentation, creating compelling email content, scheduling campaigns, and monitoring performance metrics to improve engagement and conversions. The candidate should collaborate with marketing, sales, and research teams to ensure messaging aligns with BrandEssence®'s services, industry insights, and overall marketing strategy while adhering to email marketing best practices and data privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, create, and execute B2B email marketing campaigns.




- Build and manage targeted email lists through audience segmentation.
- Develop engaging email content, subject lines, and CTAs to improve campaign performance.
- Schedule and deploy email campaigns using email marketing platforms.
- Monitor campaign KPIs including open rate, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, bounce rate, and unsubscribe rate.
- Perform A/B testing to optimize email content, subject lines, and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with business development, marketing, and research teams to promote BrandEssence®'s research reports and consulting services.
- Maintain email databases and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare campaign performance reports and recommend improvements based on analytics.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and industry best practices.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

- Strong understanding of Email Marketing and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Knowledge of B2B Marketing, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong copywriting abilities.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo (Sendinblue), Zoho Campaigns, or similar tools.
- Understanding of audience segmentation, email automation, drip campaigns, and marketing workflows.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance using metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversions, and engagement.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and marketing analytics tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Robust analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns while meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and email marketing compliance will be an added advantage.
