We are looking for an experienced Fitness Equipment Circuit Board Repair Technician who specializes in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuit boards (PCBs) used in commercial fitness equipment.

This role requires component-level troubleshooting and repair capability. We are specifically looking for a technician who can identify faults and repair circuit boards rather than simply replacing complete PCBs.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards/PCBs used in commercial fitness equipment.
- Troubleshoot treadmill motor control boards, power boards, display/console boards, interface boards and related electronic modules.
- Perform component-level fault diagnosis using multimeters, oscilloscopes and other electronic testing equipment.
- Identify and replace defective electronic components including:
- MOSFETs
- IGBTs
- ICs
- Diodes
- Capacitors
- Resistors
- Relays
- Transformers
- Rectifiers
- Voltage regulators
- Sensors and connectors

- Diagnose issues related to motor control, power supply, speed control, incline systems, console communication and other electronic faults.
- Perform soldering, desoldering, SMD component replacement and PCB track/jumper repair.
- Test repaired boards before installation and confirm proper operation on equipment.
- Identify recurring PCB failures and recommend preventive solutions.
- Maintain repair records including fault identified, components replaced and testing performed.
- Support the technical team in reducing unnecessary PCB replacement and equipment downtime.

Equipment Exposure Experience Repairing Boards From Commercial Fitness Equipment Such As





Treadmills | Ellipticals | Exercise Bikes | Stair Climbers | Rowers | Strength/Cardio Electronics

Experience with brands such as Life Fitness, Technogym, Precor, Matrix, Star Trac, Freemotion, Cybex, NordicTrack or similar commercial fitness brands will be an advantage.

Candidate Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on electronic circuit board repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Proven experience in component-level PCB troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong soldering and SMD rework skills.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams/schematics and trace circuits even when complete diagrams are unavailable.
- Experience repairing motor drives, inverter boards, SMPS or industrial control boards is highly desirable.
- Fitness equipment repair experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has robust PCB repair expertise.

Important We are not looking only for a fitness equipment service technician who replaces faulty boards.

We need an electronics technician capable of opening, diagnosing and repairing the actual circuit board at component level.

Candidates with experience repairing industrial electronics, inverter/drive boards, UPS systems, motor controllers, appliance PCBs or similar electronic systems are encouraged to apply.
