Electronics & Robotics Engineer

About the role

You'll own the robot's electronics, from power and wiring to sensors and the lights and sounds it uses to communicate with people, and connect them to the software that runs the robot's tasks.

What you'll do

- Assemble, test and troubleshoot robot electronics
- Design power distribution and power-supply management, including custom circuit boards
- Design wiring harnesses and connectors for repeatable builds
- Bring up new sensors (LiDAR, cameras, encoders, IMU) and integrate them with ROS 2
- Build the robot's non-verbal communication: lights, sounds and indicators
- Support task handling and integration with our fleet management system

What we're looking for

- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering
- Hands-on experience with PCB design (KiCad, Altium or similar)
- Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32) and embedded C/C++
- Understanding of power electronics, batteries and DC systems
- Comfortable with lab equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering

Nice to have

- Experience with ROS 2 hardware drivers
- Motor drivers,



CAN, RS-485 or Modbus
- Robotics or EV student-team experience
