ABOUT US:

Join a team that is redefining the accessibility of space. Azista space is a transformative force in the global aerospace sector, uniquely positioned at the intersection of indigenous innovation and industrial scalability. Operating India’s first private-sector satellite mass-production facility in Ahmedabad, we have bridged the gap between complex engineering and high-volume manufacturing.

As a vertically integrated leader, we provide end-to-end solutions from the precision design of satellite buses and advanced payloads to mission management and communication systems. We don’t just build hardware, we are democratizing the final frontier by providing global clientele with the cost-effective, high-performance technology needed to power the next generation of orbital missions. At Azista, you won't just be starting a job, you’ll be fuelling the future of space exploration.

JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will own the end-to-end development of RTOS and Linux-based application software across cutting-edge FPGA and ARM-based SoC platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and validation teams to optimize system throughput, latency, memory bandwidth, and deterministic real-time behavior. If you thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership culture with minimal bureaucracy, this is your opportunity to build technology that reaches orbit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Software Architecture & RTOS Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded application software using C/C++, leveraging FreeRTOS and the PREEMPT_RT kernel for deterministic, hard real-time behavior.

- High-Speed Data-Path Optimization: Develop and debug high-speed data-path applications (100 Mbps to 10 Gbps), including LVDS, SerDes, and packet-based network processing.
- Interface & Bus Integration: Implement robust data movement strategies utilizing DMA/DMAC, AXI/AMBA interfaces (AXI4, AXI4-Lite, AXI-Stream), SPI/QSPI, and PCIe device drivers.
- Networking & Protocols: Build and integrate networking applications utilizing Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP) and time-sensitive protocols such as TSN or PTP1588.
- System Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize system throughput, latency, CPU utilization, and memory bandwidth using advanced lab equipment like logic analyzers, JTAG, GDB, and oscilloscopes.
- Hardware-Software Co-Design: Support bootloader-based hardware bring-up, FPGA/SoC platform integration, and comprehensive system validation.
- Automation & Documentation: Develop Python-based test scripts and automation utilities while maintaining rigorous technical documentation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and integration guides.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems,

FPGA/SoC integration, or application engineering.
- Core Languages & OS: Advanced Embedded C/C++, Linux/POSIX, FreeRTOS, and PREEMPT_RT kernel architecture.
- Hardware Interfaces: Proficiency with AXI/AMBA, DMA/DMAC, SPI/QSPI, PCIe, and Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP).
- High-Speed Systems: Proven experience working with and debugging 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps high-speed data applications on ARM-based SoC/SoM or FPGA boards.
- Tools & Version Control:Git, GDB, JTAG, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Wireshark.
- Scripting: Basic Python for automation, testing, and tooling.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

- TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) or PTP/IEEE 1588 implementation experience.
- In-depth knowledge of alternative real-time operating systems such as QNX or Zephyr.
- Hands-on bootloader development and hardware bring-up experience.
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

WHY JOIN US ?

- Mission That Matters: Directly contribute to India’s private space sector by building scalable satellite technology deployed in global orbital missions.
- High-Ownership Culture: Enjoy a flat, quick-moving environment characterized by rapid learning, high autonomy, and minimal workplace politics.
- Cutting-Edge Tech Stack: Solve complex engineering challenges spanning multi-gigabit data transfers, real-time Linux kernels, and aerospace-grade avionics.
- Growth & Impact: Work alongside industry pioneers in state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad, with clear pathways for professional development and technical leadership.
