Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to join our Hospital Maintenance Department. The candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of electrical systems within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Maintain and repair lighting, switches, sockets, electrical panels and wiring.
- Monitor electrical equipment and ensure safe operating conditions.
- Handle emergency electrical issues promptly, especially in critical hospital areas.
- Perform electrical inspection and basic testing as required.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records and report major faults to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team for repair and replacement activities.
- Follow hospital safety procedures and electrical safety standards.




- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Support other maintenance activities as assigned by the HOD/Supervisor.

Educational Qualification
- ITI – Electrician or Diploma in Electrical / EEE.
- B Licence or C Licence – Mandatory.

Experience
- 0–10 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Hospital/Healthcare experience will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with the required electrical licence may also be considered.

Skills Required
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring and maintenance.
- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical panels and basic electrical equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valuable safety awareness and responsible work attitude.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Shift Requirement Rotational Shift – Morning / Evening / Night as per hospital requirement.

Salary

20,000 – 30,000 per month, based on qualification and experience.
