About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our boat manufacturing factory. The candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across boats, production equipment, machinery, and factory facilities.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting and be comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out electrical wiring, installation, testing, and maintenance in boats and factory premises.
- Install and connect lights, switches, sockets, distribution boards, panels, batteries, cables, and electrical accessories.
- Perform electrical wiring for 12V/24V DC marine systems and basic 230V AC systems.
- Read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and layouts.
- Assist with installation of electrical systems during boat construction and fit-out.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, loose connections, power failures, and equipment issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory electrical systems and machinery.
- Test electrical connections using multimeters, testers, and other electrical tools.
- Handle cable routing, cable termination, crimping, insulation, and proper cable management.




- Install and maintain LED lighting, navigation lights, pumps, fans, switches, panels, and other boat electrical components.
- Assist in electrical installation of bilge pumps, battery systems, chargers, control panels, and other marine equipment.
- Ensure proper earthing/grounding and electrical safety.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Coordinate with the Production, Mechanical, and Boat Design teams during installation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain basic records of electrical work, repairs, and maintenance.
- Follow factory safety procedures, PPE requirements, and electrical safety standards.
- Support other maintenance and production-related electrical requirements as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AC and DC electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of cable termination, crimping, insulation, and cable routing.
- Ability to use a multimeter, tester, crimping tools, and standard electrician tools.




- Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a production team.
- Willingness to work in a boat manufacturing/factory environment.

Preferred / Advantageous
- Experience in marine electrical work, boat building, shipbuilding, or yacht manufacturing.
- Knowledge of 12V/24V marine electrical systems.
- Experience with marine batteries, battery chargers, bilge pumps, navigation lights, and marine panels.
- Experience with DG sets, motors, pumps, compressors, welding machines, or factory machinery.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Electrician trade.
- Experience in FRP/GRP boat manufacturing or marine fit-out will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification ITI – Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, manufacturing, marine, shipbuilding, construction, or industrial environments.

Working Conditions

- Work location: Boat Manufacturing Factory, Cuncolim, Goa
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Candidate should be comfortable working inside boats, factory areas, and production environments.
- May occasionally be required to work beyond regular hours depending on production requirements.

Pay: ₹8,695.37 - ₹29,155.45 per month
