Role Description The Electrical Design Trainee will support the design, development, and documentation of electrical systems for rolling mill equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in creating electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, and collaborating with senior engineers to select and integrate electrical components. The trainee will help in reviewing technical specifications, supporting basic troubleshooting of electrical systems, and ensuring designs comply with safety and industry standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Atarra, and involves close coordination with mechanical,



production, and maintenance teams to align electrical designs with overall equipment requirements.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical equipment, with the ability to apply basic electrical principles in industrial settings.
- Skills in electrical design and electrical engineering, including familiarity with creating or interpreting circuit diagrams and equipment layouts.
- Understanding of power generation and distribution concepts relevant to heavy machinery and manufacturing environments.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (students nearing completion may also be considered).
- Ability to use basic CAD or electrical design software; familiarity with industry standards and safety practices is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site in a manufacturing workplace.
