Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical guide for QA and engineering teams on test strategy and automation.

Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and QA engineers to define test requirements and ensure adequate coverage across the test pyramid.

Design and maintain test cases, traceability, and defect tracking using tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.

Develop and maintain automated tests for backend Node.js and AWS Lambda services.

Build and maintain React Native unit tests using React Native Testing Library and Jest.

Develop and maintain black-box and grey-box testing suites for Server, iOS, and Android applications.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.

Contribute to quality metrics, defect phase tracking, and release-readiness reporting.

Perform manual testing when required for exploratory testing, triage, and validation of complex scenarios.

Required Skills

Solid experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Experience with UI unit testing,



particularly React or React Native.

Strong understanding of shift-left testing, test pyramid, and test layering strategies.

Strong experience with mocking frameworks.

Experience designing maintainable and scalable test architectures.

Experience with data-driven testing, reusable test fixtures, and clean code practices.

Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and QA automation practices.

Good to Have

Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud platforms.

Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments.

Familiarity with testing serverless architectures.

Experience with React Native unit testing.

Experience with Jest or Vitest.

Experience with Maestro or Detox.

Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.

Experience working with Jira APIs.

Experience with API testing tools.

Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop validation or device-connected workflows.
