Role Description The E&I; Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shahnagar. The engineer will be responsible for overseeing electrical and instrumentation systems across boiler plants, ash handling units, coal plant operations, and water treatment facilities, ensuring protected and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues, monitoring process control systems, performing routine inspections, and coordinating maintenance activities.





The E&I; Engineer will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to implement improvements, support commissioning of new equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves maintaining documentation, preparing technical reports, and supporting optimization initiatives to improve reliability and performance of plant utilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity for industrial utility systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Instrumentation and Process Control for monitoring and automation of plant operations.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults efficiently.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in power plants, boiler systems, or industrial utilities is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in electrical and instrumentation work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork capability, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
