Job Summary

We are looking for an E-commerce Accounting & MIS/Report Analyst to manage e-commerce financial data, sales reconciliation, marketplace settlements, and business reports. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing sales and profitability, and preparing regular MIS reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and monitor e-commerce accounting records and transactions.
- Reconcile Amazon, Shopify, Myntra and other marketplace sales and settlement reports.
- Track marketplace payments, deductions, commissions, returns, refunds, and other adjustments.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and profitability reports.
- Analyze revenue, sales, expenses, margins, discounts, returns and other key financial metrics.
- Prepare SKU-wise and channel-wise sales and profitability reports.
- Track accounts receivable, payable, marketplace receivables and pending settlements.
- Identify discrepancies between marketplace reports, sales records and bank statements.
- Coordinate with the accounts, sales, operations and e-commerce teams for data accuracy.
- Monitor COGS, gross margin and contribution margin for e-commerce channels.
- Prepare MIS dashboards and management reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, credit notes, debit notes and marketplace statements.




- Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
- Highlight unusual variances, losses, payment gaps or reconciliation issues to management.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve profitability and control costs.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of e-commerce accounting and marketplace reconciliation.
- Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, filters and data analysis.
- Good understanding of sales, revenue, COGS, margins, returns and settlements.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as:

- Myntra
- Flipkart
- Other marketplaces / D2C platforms
