- Shade Matching: Compare production and bulk fabric/yarn samples against approved buyer standards or Pantone shades under standard light boxes (D65 light source).
- Recipe Management: Adjust and validate lab-to-bulk dye recipes, accounting for fabric composition, dye penetration, and wet pickup behavior.
- Correction & Troubleshooting: Diagnose shade variations, tailing, patchiness, or unevenness during processing and issue immediate corrective redyeing or shading instructions.
- Shade Approval: Formally pass or reject dyed lots based on color consistency, fastness requirements, and quality specifications.
