Role Overview To prepare detailed engineering drawings for High Voltage Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. The candidate will be responsible for drafting Plan & Profile drawings, site access road alignments, geotechnical bore hole location plans, and structural layout drawings in full compliance with client standard drawing templates and drafting guidelines.

The candidate should understand OHTL design standards, work independently with effective communication and co-ordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of OHTL design deliverables including plan & profile drawings, tower spotting layouts, borehole location drawings.
- Prepare foundation drawings, structure data sheets, single line diagrams and tower/gantry outline & clearance drawings.
- Prepare tower GA drawings, hardware assembly diagrams, and grounding system layouts.
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and maintain project documentation.
- Should incorporate engineering markups, redlines, client review comments,



and site survey revisions into project drawings.
- Ensure drawing scales, symbols, block libraries, dimensioning formats, and line types strictly follow client drafting manuals and project specifications prior to client submission.

Coordination & Deliverables

- Coordinate effectively with design engineers, Electrical, Telecom and survey disciplines.
- Review and incorporate vendor, client, and engineering comments.
- Prepare IFC, revised and as-built drawings.
- Maintain drawing quality, revision control, and client CAD standards.

Software Skills Required:

- Core: AutoCAD (2D & Civil drafting), PLS-CADD (exporting & drawing preparation).
- Preferred: Civil 3D, MicroStation, Google Earth Pro.
- General: MS Office / PDF markup tools.
- Exposure to 3D tools is an advantage.
