Provide round‑the‑clock monitoring and first‑level support for IT Disaster Recovery systems to ensure adherence to RPO/RTO targets, prompt incident response, and continuous DR readiness through defined runbooks and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor RPO/RTO dashboards, replication health, backup status, and DR alerts on a 24×7 basis
- Proactively identify and report replication lag, failures, or DR-related anomalies
- Log and manage DR incidents and alerts in ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent)
- Execute first-level troubleshooting as per SOPs and automation runbooks
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams (Infra, Network, Storage, Application) for resolution
- Perform shift handover, update logs, and maintain incident tracking
- Support scheduled DR drills and validation activities
- Ensure evidence collection for audit and compliance requirements
- Regular DR readiness activities and reporting
- Prepare MIS & Reporting
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Basic understanding of DR concepts (RPO, RTO, DR drills)
- Exposure to monitoring tools (infra / application / DR dashboards)
- Experience with ITSM tools (Incident & Change Management)
- Basic knowledge of Windows / Linux environments
Good to Have
- Awareness of DR tools (Zerto, SRM, ASR, Veeam, native cloud DR)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
