Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to support our engineering team in preparing detailed engineering drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects, including WTP, WWTP, ETP, and STP systems. The role requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and proficiency in design software. Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and develop: ○ PFD (Process Flow Diagrams) ○ P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) ○ GA (General Arrangement) Drawings ○ Sectional and detailed fabrication drawings
● Create 2D and 3D drawings/models for plant layouts and equipment
● Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
● Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams for drawing inputs and revisions
● Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
● Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings. Technical Skills
● Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D – mandatory)
● Working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D / SolidWorks / Revit / PDM tools
● Understanding of: ○ Water treatment systems (RO, Filters, Clarifiers, Pumps, etc.) ○ Piping layouts and instrumentation
● Ability to develop GA, P&ID;, and detailed engineering drawings. Other Skills
● Good coordination and communication skills
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Qualification & Experience
● Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
● Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering drawing preparation
● Prior experience in water/wastewater treatment industry preferred. Compensation
