Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning significant features or systems in production.

- Strong C# / .NET expertise fluent in ASP.NET and building/maintaining .NET Web APIs. Comfortable reading and reasoning about large, older codebases, not just greenfield projects.

- SQL Server proficiency able to read schema, write non-trivial queries, and trace application behavior down to the data layer.

- Cloud experience (Azure preferred) hands-on with cloud-hosted services, API management/gateways, and multi-environment deployment and configuration.

- Asynchronous / distributed systems fundamentals practical understanding of message queues, event-driven processing, serialization contracts, and failure modes (retries, poison messages, idempotency).

- Production debugging skill — demonstrated ability to root-cause ambiguous, cross-system issues in a live environment.





- Migration / modernization experience — has replaced or refactored a legacy system without breaking production, with discipline around parity verification and protected cutover.

- Excellent communication — writes clearly, explains technical decisions to non-engineers, and collaborates effectively with leadership

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- React Native + TypeScript experience, especially with offline-first apps, data synchronization, and conflict resolution.

- Payment processing or third-party financial/gateway integration experience.

- Field-service, logistics, or similar operational software domain experience.

- CI/CD pipelines and release/deployment automation familiarity.

- Mentoring / technical lead experience guiding other engineers.
