Job Summary

Responsible for supervising day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of finished goods, proper documentation, vehicle coordination, inventory accuracy, and adherence to company dispatch and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily dispatch activities as per customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Plan and coordinate loading of finished goods according to dispatch priorities.
- Ensure correct product, quantity, batch/lot, packaging, and customer details before dispatch.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Commercial, Accounts, and Logistics teams.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents including Invoice, E-Way Bill, Delivery Challan, Packing List, LR/GR, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with transporters and arrange vehicles as per dispatch requirements.
- Ensure proper loading, stacking, packing, and securing of material to prevent damage during transportation.
- Monitor vehicle placement, loading status, departure, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records in ERP/software and Excel.
- Conduct physical verification of goods before loading and reconcile dispatch quantities with system records.
- Monitor pending orders, short dispatches, rejected/damaged material, and delivery issues.
- Coordinate with transporters regarding delays, vehicle breakdowns, and delivery-related issues.




- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards in the dispatch/loading area.
- Control and monitor loading manpower and contract workers.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly dispatch and pending-order MIS reports.
- Support stock reconciliation and periodic physical inventory verification.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Handle customer or internal queries related to dispatch status and documentation.
- Train and guide dispatch/warehouse team members for efficient operations.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally or other inventory management software.
- Strong MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Knowledge of E-Way Bill, GST invoices, LR/GR and dispatch documentation.
- Positive manpower handling and team supervision skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple dispatches under time pressure.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse practices.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
