About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Director – Operations with extensive experience in end-to-end US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in managing complete RCM operations from Patient Access through Account Receivables and Collections, along with strong ownership of operational performance, client relationships, revenue, profitability and large-scale teams.

Pure End-to-End Healthcare RCM experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End RCM Operations

- Lead and manage end-to-end Healthcare RCM operations across the complete revenue cycle.

- Oversee functions including
- Patient Registration & Patient Access
- Eligibility & Benefits Verification

- Prior Authorization

- Charge Entry

- Medical Coding
- Clinical Documentation / Coding Support

- Claims Submission

- Payment Posting

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Denial Management
- Appeals & Rejections

- Underpayment Recovery

- Credit Balance
- Patient Billing / Customer Service

- Collections
- Ensure seamless integration and performance across all RCM functions.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, quality and revenue performance across the entire RCM lifecycle.

Business & Financial Performance
- Own overall operational and financial performance of RCM accounts.
- Drive improvement in Net Collection Rate, Days in A/R, clean claim rate, denial rate, aging and cash collections.
- Monitor revenue leakage and implement corrective actions.




- Develop and track operational and financial KPIs.
- Support P&L; management, budgeting and cost optimization.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Manage senior-level relationships with US Healthcare clients, providers and stakeholders.
- Lead client governance meetings, business reviews and operational discussions.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for critical operational issues.
- Ensure achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs and quality benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for process expansion and account growth.

Leadership & People Management
- Lead large-scale RCM operations through senior managers and operations leaders.
- Build and mentor a strong leadership team.
- Drive workforce planning, productivity and employee engagement.
- Develop succession plans and leadership capability.
- Ensure strong accountability across all operational functions.

Transformation & Process Excellence
- Lead RCM transformation, automation and process-improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue realization and operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices across the complete RCM lifecycle.
- Partner with Technology, Analytics, Quality and Training teams to drive continuous improvement.

Mandatory Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience with significant leadership experience in Healthcare RCM.




- Mandatory: End-to-End US Healthcare RCM experience.
- Should have handled multiple / complete RCM functions, rather than experience limited to a single process such as AR or Medical Coding.
- Robust experience managing large-scale US Healthcare RCM operations.
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple client accounts.
- Strong understanding of the complete Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
- Strong knowledge of AR, Denials, Claims, Payment Posting, Coding, Collections, Underpayments and Appeals.
- Strong client management and stakeholder-management experience.
- Experience in managing SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality and financial metrics.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a Night Shift.
- Willingness to work from office in Chennai.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should currently be or have previously been a senior leader in a US Healthcare RCM organization, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end RCM operations, large teams, client relationships, revenue performance and operational transformation.

Pure End-to-End Healthcare RCM experience is mandatory. Candidates with experience restricted to only one RCM function should not be considered.
