Role Overview

We are looking for a Director / Head of Technology to lead our technology strategy, engineering, architecture, AI initiatives, and technology delivery. This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership and can build scalable technology capabilities aligned with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute NextAmp's technology strategy, roadmap, architecture principles, and engineering standards.
- Lead engineering, architecture, AI, cloud, data, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Design and govern scalable, secure, highly available enterprise applications and platforms.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications and adoption of modern architectures.
- Lead AI/GenAI initiatives, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MCP, function calling, evaluation, and AI orchestration.
- Drive cloud modernization across AWS and Azure, including infrastructure, security, scalability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Establish engineering best practices across software development, CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and production operations.
- Partner with clients and business leaders on solution architecture, technical discussions, proposals, and strategic technology initiatives.
- Establish technology governance, cybersecurity standards, and compliance practices.




- Build and mentor high-performing engineering and technical teams.
- Define technology KPIs and drive reliability, engineering productivity, delivery quality, and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Expertise
- 10+ years of technology experience with significant technical leadership experience.
- Strong background in Software Architecture and Enterprise Application Development.
- Solid experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with Microservices, APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and Model Evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, Monitoring, and Observability.
- Experience with databases, data platforms, integrations, and enterprise architecture.
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and Cloud Security.
- Experience with architecture governance, technology standards, and technical documentation.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, or Power BI is a plus.
