Tekion enables Product teams to address customer and business challenges through innovative approaches. The company is looking for a Director, Product Management, to define and guide the direction of its overall CRM product portfolio. This position requires strong knowledge of CRM workflows, customer engagement, lifecycle management, AI-enabled experiences, and user experience.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling complex tasks and building effective product solutions.

Responsibilities include developing and executing the CRM product roadmap, prioritizing tasks with cross-functional teams, making informed decisions based on data, presenting findings and recommendations to both customers and executives, and overseeing product lines from initial concept to post-production support. The role also involves collaborating with a team that works on complex issues and aims to deliver effective solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Align Strategy to Execution – Partner closely with Business Product leaders who define product strategy, translating strategic direction into executable CRM roadmaps, delivery plans, and explicit priorities for Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams.




- Drive CRM Execution and Outcomes – Own execution rigor across the CRM product portfolio, ensuring initiatives move from strategy to delivery with clear milestones, accountable owners, measurable business outcomes, and disciplined follow-through across product adoption, retention, revenue goals, and new AI SKU launches.
- Establish Success Metrics – Define and monitor metrics to evaluate platform success and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making. Regularly assess core business metrics and adjust priorities in response to evolving team goals.
- Champion the Customer Perspective – Collaborate with our Business Teams and serve as the advocate for our products with customers by actively gathering feedback, communicating updates and improvements, and fostering customer advocacy. Develop a strong understanding of the business environment, communicate effectively in business terms, and bridge the gap between our customers and products. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of user expectations to ensure applications align seamlessly with user workflows.
- Blend Entrepreneurial Drive with Structured Methodology – Lead pivotal strategic initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to refine customized processes. Approach challenges with both agility and discipline, ensuring projects are initiated efficiently and executed through systematic, scalable methodologies toward productization and repeatability.
- Champion Product Process Discipline – Drive Agile practices, structured JIRA methodology, sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization rigor, and consistent execution tracking across the CRM product organization.
- Manage and Mentor – Guide our dedicated team of Product Managers toward excellence. Support their professional and personal growth,



facilitate skill development, and cultivate a high-performing, dependable, and unified team.
- Prioritize Across Organizational Priorities – Partner with Business Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and product vertical leaders to align CRM roadmap execution with broader company priorities. Make trade-offs transparent, sequence work effectively, and ensure teams focus on the highest-impact initiatives.
- Lead Product Engagement and Communication – Build strong relationships with leaders across Business Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Learning & Development, Customer Success, and General Management. Provide crisp execution visibility, escalate risks and dependencies early, and ensure stakeholders remain aligned on priorities, decisions, and delivery progress.
- Enable Scalable Speed – Design and implement processes that support rapid execution while maintaining sustainability and scalability. Prioritize resources effectively, clearly articulate trade-offs, and position the team to achieve immediate targets as well as long-term objectives.

Requirements

- Strong business acumen with experience navigating complex product development cycles
- 10+ years in Product Management, with deep user empathy and process understanding
- 4+ years directly managing product managers
- Advanced degree (MBA or Engineering) from a top-tier institution
- Experience leading both onshore and offshore teams
- Proven ability to drive prioritization and collaborate across functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Successful track record in CRM space
- End-to-end product lifecycle management, including post-release support
- Skilled in designing scalable processes
- Hands-on approach and proactive contributor
- Exceptional collaboration skills within cross-functional environments
- Ability to anticipate user needs and identify improvement areas
- Dedicated to delivering superior user experiences with measurable business results

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the automotive retail industry or with dealer/ OEM data.
- AI/ML product management experience
