Substation Electrical Engineer For Diploma Electrical / B.E. Electrical

Job Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain electrical substations and associated equipment.

- Monitor transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CT/PT, busbars, batteries and protection relays.

- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance.

- Carry out switching operations according to approved procedures.

- Monitor voltage, current, load and other electrical parameters.

- Identify electrical faults and coordinate troubleshooting.

- Read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical drawings.

- Assist with relay testing, breaker testing and transformer maintenance.

- Maintain operation and maintenance records.

- Follow HT safety procedures, LOTO, earthing and electrical safety rules.

- Coordinate with control-room, maintenance and testing teams.

- Prepare daily shift/maintenance reports.

Qualification

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering suitable for Technician/Operator/Junior-level roles EXPERIENCE (5-8 years must)

- B.E./B.Tech Electrical Engineering – suitable for Engineer/O&M;/Protection/Testing roles.(3-8 Years Experience Must)

- Knowledge of HT/LT systems and substation equipment is preferred.
