Designation: Diploma Engineer Trainee (Shift Operator)

We are looking for Diploma Engineer Trainees (Shift Operators). Freshers are welcome to apply. This role provides an chance to develop hands-on technical expertise in water treatment plant operations, maintenance, documentation, and operator competency.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure adherence to industrial safety practices during all plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Operate and monitor pre-treatment, water generation, storage, and distribution systems as per prescribed SOPs.
- Ensure optimal and safe operation of all plant equipment.
- Monitor utility and feed-water parameters and ensure compliance with specified operating limits.
- Prepare and maintain operational records, including log sheets, chemical consumption records, preventive maintenance (PM) records, and other required documentation.
- Verify sensor calibration using appropriate test kits and maintain relevant records.
- Coordinate with the QC team for water sampling and analysis.
- Perform basic/non-critical maintenance activities, such as attending to minor leakages, using available tools.
- Record operational issues, observations, and corrective actions in accordance with QA documentation procedures.




- Participate in classroom and hands-on technical training conducted by CN and customers to develop and maintain competency in plant operations.
- Assist in conducting periodic hands-on training for operators and support competency assessment and certification.
- Follow assigned shift schedules and support contingency arrangements at the site.
- Perform assigned site administrative activities, including HR compliance, documentation, invoicing, payment follow-up, and other related responsibilities.
- Follow all applicable SOPs, safety procedures, quality requirements, and customer/site guidelines.

Eligibility

- Diploma in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Instrumentation / relevant discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience in DM / RO / Purified Water Systems / Utility Operations & Maintenance will also be considered.
- Willingness to work in shift operations and site environments.
- Good learning attitude, discipline, and willingness to develop technical and operational skills.
