Position Overview The AGM – Finance will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Company's finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, internal controls, cash-flow management, audit coordination, and timely closure of accounts.

The position requires strong hands-on knowledge of overall accounting, GST, TDS, direct and indirect taxation, financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, budgeting, MIS, and financial controls, along with the ability to lead and guide the Finance & Accounts team.

Educational Qualification

- MBA – Finance
- OR ICWA / CMA
- OR CA – Inter
- Candidates with relevant professional qualifications and strong practical experience in Finance & Accounts will be preferred.

Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Robust experience in end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
- Experience in handling taxation, statutory compliance, audits, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing and supervising Finance & Accounts teams.
- Experience in Mining, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Construction, or other project-based industries will be preferred.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Oversee the complete accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Review accounting entries, ledgers, trial balance, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other accounting schedules.
- Ensure proper maintenance and reconciliation of books of accounts.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and support effective working-capital management.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls and accounting procedures.

2.GST & Indirect Taxation
- Handle and supervise all aspects of GST compliance, including:
- GSTR-1
- GSTR-3B
- GSTR-9/9C, wherever applicable
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
- GSTR-2B reconciliation
- E-invoicing
- E-way bills
- Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM)




- GST refunds, wherever applicable
- GST notices and assessments
- Ensure timely payment and filing of GST returns.
- Review GST applicability on various transactions, including purchases, services, works contracts, and inter-state transactions.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in GST returns and input tax credit.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities on GST notices, assessments, audits, and other proceedings.

1. TDS & Income Tax

- Oversee complete TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, reconciliation, and timely filing of TDS returns.
- Ensure proper application of TDS provisions under applicable sections.
- Review TDS on salary, contractors, professionals, rent, interest, commission, and other applicable payments.
- Ensure issuance of TDS certificates and reconciliation with Form 26AS/AIS, wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for income-tax returns, tax assessments, notices, appeals, and related matters.
- Monitor advance tax and other direct-tax obligations.

1. Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with applicable Finance, Accounts, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements relevant to the Company's operations.
- Maintain a statutory compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of all returns, payments, and filings.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws, rules, notifications, circulars, and tax regulations and assess their impact on the Company.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of statutory records.5. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Trial Balance, ageing reports, working-capital statements, and other financial schedules.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and management dashboards highlighting financial performance, key variances, receivables, payables, cash position,



and other critical financial indicators.
- Analyse actual performance against budgets and identify significant variances.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management for business decision-making.

1. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Assist management in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor budget versus actual expenditure.
- Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective measures.
- Support management in financial planning, cost optimisation, and resource allocation.
- Prepare financial projections and scenario analysis as required.

1. Cash Flow & Banking

- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly cash flow and fund requirements.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and ensure adequate availability of funds.
- Manage banking transactions and coordinate with banks regarding payments, facilities, documentation, and other requirements.
- Monitor bank reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist management in matters relating to working-capital facilities, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other banking arrangements, wherever applicable.

1. Audit Management

- Coordinate internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, and other regulatory audits.
- Ensure timely submission of audit schedules, supporting documents, and information.
- Review audit observations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain proper audit trails and supporting documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding audit issues and ensure timely closure.

1. Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate financial controls and accounting processes.
- Identify financial and taxation risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and approval mechanisms.
- Review financial transactions for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen financial controls.

1. Vendor & Customer Accounting

- Supervise vendor and customer ledger management.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor/customer accounts.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
