We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure and deployment processes, managing CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud environments, and implementing DevOps best practices.
Hands-on Snowflake experience is mandatory for this position. Candidates should have practical experience working with Snowflake in a DevOps, cloud, automation, deployment, or platform engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and data platform deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployments using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Manage and support Snowflake environments, including deployment, configuration, access management and automation.
- Integrate Snowflake deployments with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Automate Snowflake objects, configurations and environment provisioning wherever applicable.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Work with development and data engineering teams to streamline application and data platform releases.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and environment-related issues.
- Follow security, access-control and DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to improving deployment automation, reliability and operational efficiency.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps.
- Hands-on Snowflake experience – Mandatory.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of Git and version control.
- Strong scripting knowledge using Python / Shell scripting.
- Valuable understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
Snowflake Experience Candidates should have practical experience in one or more of the following:
- Snowflake environment setup and management
- Snowflake deployment automation
- Snowflake CI/CD integration
- Snowflake infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Snowflake users, roles and access management
- Database/schema/warehouse management
- Automation of Snowflake objects and configurations
- Integration of Snowflake with cloud and DevOps platforms
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Snowflake CLI / SnowSQL.
- Experience with Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions for Snowflake deployments.
- Knowledge of Snowflake security and RBAC.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and automation.
- Exposure to data engineering or data platform environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
Important Note Snowflake experience is mandatory. Candidates with only generic DevOps experience and no hands-on Snowflake exposure will not be considered.
