DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud, and deployment practices. The candidate will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor applications, and support cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Work with Git for source code management and version control.
- Assist with application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Work with Docker for containerizing applications.
- Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Assist in managing Linux servers and perform basic system administration tasks.
- Write basic Shell/Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Assist in infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor logs, services, and system health and participate in incident resolution.
- Follow security, backup, deployment, and infrastructure best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and senior DevOps engineers.

Required Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure.
- Valuable understanding of Linux fundamentals.




- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Hands-on or project experience with Docker.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash/Shell.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and Load Balancer.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of security and cloud best practices.
- Experience working with production or staging environments.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant certifications, projects, internships, or hands-on DevOps experience may also be considered.
