Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Management

- Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud environments across AWS and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

- Provision and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

- Implement and manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance with auto-scaling, load balancing, and failover configurations.

- Optimize multi-cloud networking with VPC peering, cloud interconnect, and hybrid connectivity.

CI/CD Pipelines & Automation

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.

- Automate code deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.

- Implement blue-green deployments and zero-downtime updates to minimize service disruptions.

- Automate cloud resource scaling and management using AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, and serverless technologies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Write modular, reusable Terraform scripts for deploying multi-cloud resources.

- Automate the provisioning of AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Cloud Run, and GCP Storage.

- Implement parameterized and version-controlled IaC to ensure repeatable deployments.

- Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost by auto-scaling resources based on load.

Cloud Security & Compliance

- Implement security best practices across AWS and GCP environments.

- Use AWS IAM and GCP IAM to enforce role-based access control (RBAC).

- Set up AWS WAF and GCP Cloud Armor to protect against DDoS attacks.

- Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit using KMS and GCP Key Management Service.

- Implement secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager and GCP Secret Manager.

Monitoring, Logging & Performance Optimization





- Set up multi-cloud monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, GCP Stackdriver, and Prometheus.

- Define custom metrics and alerts to monitor API performance, latency, and errors.

- Use Grafana and Datadog for real-time dashboards and incident management.

- Perform load testing and benchmarking to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Skills:

- Cloud Platforms:

- Strong expertise in AWS and GCP (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage).

- Experience with multi-cloud architecture and hybrid deployments.

- CI/CD & Automation:

- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.

- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.

- Containerization & Orchestration

:

- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) for containerized applications.

- Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes operators for deployment automation.

- Networking & Security:

- Strong knowledge of VPC, NAT Gateways, Cloud Interconnect, and VPNs.

- Experience in implementing security policies, RBAC, and firewalls.

- Monitoring & Logging:

- Proficiency in CloudWatch, GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Experience in building custom dashboards and setting up alerts.

- Soft Skills:

- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
