: DevOps Engineer (Mid-Senior)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and other platforms as needed. You will drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD maturity, and platform reliability for working closely with engineering, security, and delivery teams to keep environments fast, secure, and resilient.

Detail-oriented under pressure, staying calm during incidents and methodical during root-cause analysis. Communicates clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating infrastructure trade-offs into simple choices. Responsibilities:

- Design and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, across AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms as required.
- Build and operate containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE), including deployments, services, config maps, secrets, and rolling updates.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Manage container images and registries (e.g., ECR, ACR, or similar), ensuring secure build and deployment practices.
- Support cloud networking and security, including VPC/VNet design, IAM/RBAC, and secrets and certificate management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Support database and messaging infrastructure (e.g., RDS, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, SNS/SQS, or equivalents)



and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, driving improvements to reliability and reducing recurrence.
- Collaborate and mentor cross-functional teams and junior engineers on cloud and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

- 4 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); working knowledge of a second platform is a plus.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep).
- Strong experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred/Good to Have

- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Skilled, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent container orchestration certification.
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments and cloud cost optimisation (FinOps) practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow or Jira-based change and incident management workflows.
- Familiarity with environments and compliance requirements.
