Role description

Apigee API Developer with hands-on experience in API Management, API Security, and API Gateway technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in designing, developing, securing, and deploying APIs using the Apigee platform while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across enterprise applications.Key

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain API proxies using Apigee.
- Implement API security policies including OAuth, TLS, API Key validation, and threat protection mechanisms.
- Configure and manage traffic management policies such as Quota, Spike Arrest, and Concurrent Rate Limiting.
- Develop and manage Proxy Endpoints, Target Endpoints, Shared Flows, and Flow Hooks.
- Implement message transformation and mediation, including XML to JSON conversion and SOAP validation.
- Configure and troubleshoot policies such as Extract Message, Assign Message, JavaScript, Message Logging, and Fault Handling.
- Manage API Products, Developer Apps, and API lifecycle deployments.
- Work with KVM, Cache, Target Servers, and Micro Gateway configurations.
- Perform API monitoring, tracing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable API solutions.
