Role Description The Design For Test (DFT) Engineer role at Corpmatch Private Limited is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru South. The DFT Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing test architectures and strategies for integrated circuits, ensuring testability, coverage, and reliability from design through production.

Day-to-day tasks include designing scan, BIST, and boundary scan structures, generating test patterns, analyzing coverage reports, and collaborating with design and verification teams to address test-related issues.



The role also involves working with manufacturing test teams to optimize test flows, debug failing parts, and improve yield. The engineer will document DFT methodologies, maintain best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong digital design fundamentals and experience with RTL design, verification, and synthesis.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design For Test methodologies, including scan insertion, ATPG, boundary scan, and BIST implementation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with EDA tools relevant to DFT, such as test pattern generation, fault simulation, and coverage analysis tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing test flows, production testing, and yield analysis concepts.
- Candidates should possess effective problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or a related discipline.
- Experience with scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or TCL) for automation and data analysis is beneficial.
- Prior exposure to ASIC or SoC design projects, test standards (such as IEEE 1149.x), and industry best practices in DFT is an advantage.
