Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist senior design engineers in product development and design modifications.
- Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and design documentation.
- Understand manufacturing processes and design components considering manufacturability.
- Assist in design calculations and basic engineering analysis.
- Coordinate with Production,
Quality and Purchase teams whenever required.
- Review drawings and ensure accuracy before release.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions and design changes.
- Learn and follow company standards, design procedures and safety requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
- Understanding of engineering drawing and basic GD&T; concepts.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Positive knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new design tools and technologies.
