JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Design Engineer with relevant experience in industrial chillers, HVAC, or refrigeration equipment design. The role involves heat-load calculations, chiller sizing, component selection, engineering drawings, BOM preparation, and coordination with Production, Purchase, Quality, Sales, and Service teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform heat-load and TR calculations based on customer requirements.
- Select suitable compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, pumps, tanks, and related components.
- Prepare GA drawings, P&ID;, piping layouts, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
- Create 2D/3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
- Prepare BOMs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Support air-cooled and water-cooled chiller design activities.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Electrical, Sales, and Service teams.
- Provide technical support for customer-specific chiller requirements.




- Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of design-related issues.
- Improve existing designs for efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost control.
- Maintain drawing revisions, calculation sheets, BOMs, and design records.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial chiller, HVAC, refrigeration, or thermal/cooling equipment design.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air-conditioning fundamentals.
- Experience with heat-load / TR calculations and chiller component selection.
- Knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
- Good understanding of refrigeration cycles and industrial process cooling.
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Ability to prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of P&ID; and piping layouts is preferred.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Chiller testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
