About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Engineer – Design who will support the Design Engineer in preparing AutoCAD drawings, design reports and technical documents for civil and geotechnical projects.
This is a valuable opportunity for a fresher or junior Civil Engineer who wants to learn geotechnical design and real infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, layouts and cross-sections for civil and geotechnical projects.
- Convert sketches and design notes into proper technical drawings.
- Make changes and revisions to drawings based on feedback.
- Prepare and maintain drawing files and records.
- Assist in preparing design reports, technical specifications and BOQs.
- Prepare presentations and other technical documents.
- Prepare AutoCAD layouts, cross-sections, construction details and technical drawings for projects involving slopes, retaining walls, embankments, pavements and ground improvement.
- Coordinate with design, project and site teams.
- Support technical proposals and sales activities when required.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants for basic technical clarifications.
Required Skills
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Basic/working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of Geotechnical Engineering.
- Ability to read and understand civil engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude is an advantage.
- Good English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ideal Candidate A Civil Engineering fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience who has good AutoCAD knowledge, basic technical understanding and is interested in learning design and geotechnical engineering.
