Position Title: Lithium-Ion Battery Design Engineer

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Experience: 3-5 years

Education: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Lithium-Ion Battery Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize battery systems ranging from 2-Wheeler EV applications to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems). The role involves battery pack design, electrical architecture, safety compliance, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration from concept to production. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop lithium-ion battery packs for EV applications (2-wheelers, light mobility, and stationary BESS).
- Define battery architecture, cell configuration (series/parallel), and module design.
- Perform electrical design including voltage, current, thermal, and energy calculations.
- Select suitable cell chemistry based on performance requirements.
- Design electrical schematics, wiring harnesses, and protection circuits.
- Integrate BMS (Battery Management System) with battery packs.
- Work on power electronics interface requirements and system integration.




- Analyze charge/discharge profiles and performance parameters.
- Perform simulation and validation of battery performance.
- Support prototype build, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze test data to optimize battery efficiency and lifecycle. Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust knowledge of Lithium-ion cell chemistry and battery pack design principles.
- Hands-on experience in EV battery (2W/3W/4W) or BESS systems.
- Knowledge of BMS architecture and battery safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics and design tools like AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium, etc.
- Understanding of thermal management and safety mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with testing and validation. Behavioral Competencies
