Role & responsibilities

- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings for structures, ASME piping, and rotating/static equipment.

- Handle conceptualization, design, modeling, detailing, and drawing development as per project requirements.

- Apply knowledge of welding, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes to create practical and manufacturable designs.

- Create and maintain Part Numbers, BOMs, and engineering data in ERP systems.

- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and ease of assembly.

- Review engineering drawings and technical data in coordination with the R&D;/Engineering team.

- Support the development and modification of recent products and engineering designs.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, specifications, and project requirements.

- Use Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailing.

Preferred candidate profile





- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience: 13 years of relevant experience in Structure & Piping Design, Rotating Equipment, or Static Equipment.

- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor is required.

- Good understanding of 3D modeling, assembly, detailing, and engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of ASME piping and mechanical/structural design will be preferred.

- Understanding of welding, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with BOM creation, part numbering, and ERP systems.

- Knowledge of DFM and DFA principles.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design data.

- Good communication and coordination skills with R&D;, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
