What would you be doing?

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Central Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across

BigBasket's quick-commerce network. The role will focus on process optimization, performance management,

standardization, and data-driven improvements across dark stores and last-mile operations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze operational KPIs such as delivery TAT, picking efficiency, inventory accuracy, rider performance & cost to identify improvement opportunities.

Drive process optimization, SOP standardization, audits, and continuous improvement across dark stores.

Build and track operational dashboards and performance reports using data and Excel.





Identify performance gaps and work with regional/local teams on corrective action plans.

Lead operational pilots, feasibility studies, and initiatives to improve productivity, cost, and customer experience.

Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, Customer Service, and Operations teams for seamless execution.

Support new dark store launches, operational playbooks, and on-ground implementation.

Drive training and adoption of new processes, systems, and best practices.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.

6+ years of operations experience, including 2+ years in quick commerce, e-commerce, or last-mile logistics.

Warehouse operations or darkstore operations experience is a must.

Robust experience in process improvement, operational analytics, KPI management, and cost optimization.

Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills.

Strong stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Lean / Six Sigma is a plus.

Willingness to travel to operational sites as required.
