- Asset Management

- Preventive &
- Predictive Maintenance:

Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all manufacturing machinery and assembly lines.

- Breakdown Resolution: Lead the troubleshooting and rapid repair of mechanical systems during critical breakdowns to safely minimize production downtime.

- Equipment Care: Oversee the upkeep of heavy rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, and plant utilities (boilers, chillers, HVAC).

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct failure analysis on recurring mechanical issues and implement permanent corrective actions.

2. Team Leadership &

- Resource Management

- Manpower Planning: Direct, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance shift engineers, technicians, and external contractors.

- Shift Allocation: Coordinate daily shift schedules and assign tasks based on plant priorities and production targets.

- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external OEMs, service providers,



and fabrication contractors for specialized repairs and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).

3. Inventory &

- Budget Control

- Spare Parts Management: Monitor and maintain the inventory of critical mechanical spares to prevent stockouts during emergencies while keeping carrying costs optimized.

- Cost Optimization: Assist the department head in drafting the annual maintenance budget and executing cost-reduction plans for repairs.

4. Safety, Compliance &

- Operational Excellence

- Safety Protocols: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols during all maintenance activities.

- Operational Frameworks: Drive the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) methodologies on the shop floor.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine history cards, maintenance logs, and compliance checklists using CMMS or ERP (SAP/Oracle) software.
