Role Description The Deputy General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Goa, India. This role is responsible for overseeing daily café, bakery, and kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene across all locations.

The Deputy General

Manager will supervise and mentor staff, manage scheduling, coordinate training, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring customer experience, handling guest feedback, maintaining inventory and vendor relationships, and supporting financial performance through cost control and revenue optimization. The role also involves coordinating events and workshops, implementing operational procedures,



and working closely with senior management to execute brand initiatives and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

- Experience in hospitality or restaurant management, including oversight of café, bakery, or food service operations.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams, handle staffing and scheduling, and support performance development.
- Solid understanding of customer service principles, with a focus on creating welcoming, inclusive, and consistent guest experiences.
- Knowledge of basic finance and operations, including inventory management, cost control, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to plan and coordinate events, workshops, or community activities aligned with the brand’s wellness and lifestyle focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Goa is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach and resilience in a quick-paced environment.
- Prior experience in Goa or similar lifestyle-driven hospitality settings is preferred; a passion for food, wellness, and community is highly valued.
- Relevant education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience is also considered.
