We are hiring a Demi Chef de Partie to join our team in Cavelossim, South Goa, offering a selection of French and Italian cuisine, with a light menu of Goan dishes.

This is an opportunity to strengthen your culinary skills, take on greater responsibility and continue building your career in a professional international kitchen environment.

Working alongside our experienced international kitchen team, including our Italian Chef and Belgian Pizza Chef, you will be involved in daily preparation and service while taking responsibility for your assigned section. You will further develop your skills across Continental and selected Goan cuisine, with a strong focus on cooking techniques, consistency, plating, organization and international hygiene standards.

This position is designed for someone ready to move beyond a Commis Chef role, become more independent during service and develop toward a Chef de Partie position.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Take responsibility for daily mise en place and preparation for your assigned section

✅ Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, presentation and quality standards

✅ Manage your workstation during service, keeping it organized, clean and fully stocked

✅ Maintain consistent quality and timing during busy service periods

✅ Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and follow correct storage, labelling and FIFO procedures

✅ Support the Chef de Partie and senior Chefs in the smooth organization of the kitchen

✅ Assist and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Helpers when required

✅ Follow and maintain food hygiene, kitchen safety, portion control and waste-management standards

Qualifications

✔ Culinary training and/or at least 2 to 4 years of professional kitchen experience





✔ Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar position

✔ Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen organization

✔ Ability to work independently on an assigned section and maintain quality standards

✔ Ability to stay organized, efficient and calm during busy service periods

✔ Strong attention to quality, consistency, presentation and cleanliness

✔ Good teamwork and communication skills

✔ Reliable, responsible and motivated to progress toward a Chef de Partie position
