Description

Role Overview The Delivery Manager owns execution of assigned automotive engineering projects within PES, ensuring predictable delivery against scope, cost, schedule, quality, compliance, and customer commitments.

Key Interfaces Internal Interfaces Delivery

Head, DU Head, Architects, Technical Leads, Project Managers, QA, HR, Finance, PMO, and engineering teams.

External Interfaces

Customer project stakeholders, program managers, technical counterparts, release teams, and audit or compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 1.

Project

Delivery &

- Execution Management  Manage delivery planning, scope, milestones, effort, dependencies, risks, issues, and reporting.  Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, customer quality gates, and internal processes. 2.

Customer

Coordination &

- Delivery Communication  Act as the primary delivery contact for assigned customer stakeholders.  Present status, risks, dependencies, staffing needs, and corrective actions in reviews.  Support account governance, escalation preparation, audits, and operational reviews.
- Team Management &
- Resource Utilization  Lead project teams, module leads, scrum teams, and engineers across 20–60 member engagements.  Manage staffing, allocation, billability, onboarding, ramp-up, productivity, coaching, and skill-gap closure.
- Technical &
- Process Governance  Coordinate SDV, AUTOSAR, ECU software, HMI, telematics, diagnostics, HIL/SIL, and embedded workstreams.  Ensure design quality, review discipline, traceability, test coverage, defect prevention, automation, and reusable components.
- Project-Level Technology Trends &
- Standards Enablement  Apply relevant automotive trends and standards across SDV,



AUTOSAR, electrification, ADAS, connected vehicles, OTA, diagnostics, HIL/SIL, cybersecurity, safety, and AI-assisted engineering.  Convert practice direction into project plans, checklists, training actions, risks, estimates, and delivery improvements. Goals &

Decision

Authority – Delivery Manager  Own project planning, tracking, reporting, risk mitigation, and delivery controls.  Recommend staffing, corrective actions, productivity improvements, and process enhancements.  Escalate scope, cost, schedule, quality, and customer risks through governance channels.

Profile – Delivery Manager Automotive delivery manager with robust project governance, customer communication, technical awareness, and cross-functional team leadership.

Required Qualifications &

Experience – Delivery Manager  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline.  12–16 years in software / embedded / product engineering delivery, including 6+ years in automotive embedded software delivery.  Experience managing 20–60 engineers across development, integration, validation, and release cycles.  Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR, SDV, ECU software, HMI/telematics, diagnostics, HIL/SIL, ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, SOTIF, MISRA C/C++, and automotive quality processes.  Strong project governance, stakeholder communication, risk management, people coordination, and delivery reporting skills.
