Delivery Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamicDelivery Leadwith8 to 10 years of experience to oversee and lead the end-to-end execution of integrated IT infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for synchronized delivery across two distinct streams:Software Systems (applications, portals, cloud integrations) andHardware Infrastructure (servers, networking equipment, edge devices, and structured site rollouts).

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who excels at managing multi-location logistics, coordinating with high-profile clients or government entities, managing external OEMs/vendors, and leading cross-functional technical teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Execution Lifecycle
- Develop integrated project execution plans that synchronize software release timelines with physical hardware delivery, site readiness, and installation schedules.
- Manage end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent sites or regional offices, ensuring consistent quality and deployment standards.
- Define project scope, key milestones, critical paths, and KPIs; track progress rigorously and deliver transparent status reporting to executive leadership.
- Vendor & OEM Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and third-party vendors.
- Oversee hardware procurement tracking, supply chain logistics, and on-site hardware acceptance testing (HAT) .
- Enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs)



and tracking mechanisms for vendor deliverables and hardware support.
- Software Delivery & Agile Governance
- Collaborate with software architects and development teams to manage sprints, releases, and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure smooth software integration with newly deployed on-premise hardware, private clouds, or Government Community Clouds (GCC).
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and lead the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system switchovers and rollouts.
- Infrastructure & Site Readiness
- Coordinate with field engineers and local coordinators to ensure site readiness (power, space, cooling, structured cabling) prior to hardware dispatch.
- Mitigate risks related to physical deployment delays, logistics bottlenecks, or site access constraints.
- Stakeholder Management & Risk Mitigation
- Manage day-to-day relationships with client-side project management units (PMUs), technical committees, or government nodal officers.
- Proactively identify, log, and mitigate technical, financial, and logistical risks before they impact project timelines.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and change-request processes effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical & Professional Experience

- Experience:



8–10 years of experience in IT Project/Delivery Management, with a proven track record of handlingboth software development and physical infrastructure/networking rollouts.
- Infrastructure Familiarity: Strong conceptual understanding of enterprise IT architecture—including high-availability networks (SD-WAN, firewalls), core datacenter switching, server compute configurations, and cloud hosting environment touchpoints.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks for software delivery alongside traditional Waterfall/PMI methodologies for predictable hardware procurement and logistics.
- Tools: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Asana) and collaboration tools.

Soft Skills & Leadership

- Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, especially when dealing with multi-vendor ecosystems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid analytical skills with a data-driven approach to tracking delivery metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- Prior experience delivering tech infrastructure projects for state/central government departments or large-scale enterprise rollouts (e.g., multi-location site deployments) is highly desirable.
