About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Deal Sourcing Intern to join our investment banking team. The role offers hands-on exposure to fundraising and investment banking, with an opportunity to work closely with the firm's leadership, interact with business owners and contribute to building a strong deal pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research companies with potential fundraising requirements across various sectors.
- Source prospective clients and build a strong pipeline of potential mandates.
- Conduct cold calls and outreach to founders, promoters and business owners to explore fundraising opportunities.
- Conduct industry and market research to identify potential business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing company profiles, pitch decks and client presentations.
- Maintain relationships with prospective clients and follow up on business opportunities.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Graduation is compulsory in Finance, Commerce, Management or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- A keen interest in investment banking, fundraising and financial markets.
- Proactive, self-motivated and result-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in cold calling, lead generation, business development or client outreach.
