Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases.

- Plan and execute database migrations with minimal downtime.

- Manage HA, replication, backups, and disaster recovery.

- Monitor and optimize database performance.

- Support Redis, ClickHouse, and other data stores.

- Automate database tasks using Bash/Python.

- Implement database security and access controls.

- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- Database administration experience.

- Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, replication, and performance tuning.

- Experience with MySQL/MariaDB to PostgreSQL migrations.

- Solid knowledge of HA, PITR, backups, and disaster recovery.

- Experience with cloud and on-premise database deployments.

- Knowledge of Redis, ClickHouse, Ansible/Terraform is a plus.

- Strong Bash/Python scripting skills.
