Role Overview :

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the security of enterprise database platforms supporting IAM and other critical business services. This is a mid-level role that independently executes day-to-day database operations and partners with application, infrastructure, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and support enterprise databases across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and reliable operations.
- Implement and enforce database security controls (least privilege, encryption, auditing, patching) aligned with IAM and enterprise standards.
- Partner with infrastructure, network, and security teams to provision environments and meet compliance requirements.
- Automate routine administration tasks using scripting and tooling (e.g., PowerShell, T-SQL, Bash)



and standardize configuration through repeatable processes.
- Maintain documentation for architectures, configurations, and operational procedures; participate in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents and restore service.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering relational and/or NoSQL databases in production environments; robust SQL skills.
- Experience administering several of the following platforms : Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2022), PostgreSQL (13-17), Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, MongoDB, AstraDB, and MySQL (5, 8, 9).
- Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to monitor systems, communicate clearly during incidents, and document operational procedures.
