Role Description The Data Structure Tutor for Engineering is responsible for delivering clear, engaging online lessons focused on core data structure concepts such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. Day-to-day tasks include planning individualized lesson plans, explaining theoretical concepts and practical applications, guiding learners through problem-solving and coding exercises, and providing constructive feedback on assignments and assessments. The tutor will track student progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and maintain regular communication with learners to support their academic goals.

This is a full-time remote role,



requiring reliable online presence and adherence to scheduled sessions across various time zones.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, including their implementation and use in engineering and software development.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in engineering education (such as C, C++, Java, or Python).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner to learners with varying levels of prior knowledge.
- Experience with online teaching tools, virtual classrooms, or e-learning platforms, and comfort with remote instruction.
- Excellent communication, patience, and active listening skills to support one-to-one tutoring and personalized learning.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience in academic or professional settings is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a consistent full-time schedule in a remote environment.
