Role Summary:

We are seeking a Data SRE Engineer with a strong automation and production-engineering mindset to improve the reliability and operational efficiency of AI/ML, data, and telemetry pipelines.

The primary objective is to reduce manual operational effort through automation, better observability, faster diagnostics, and permanent engineering fixes .

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot recurring production failures across AI/ML and distributed data pipelines .
- Build automation for diagnostics, health validation, incident response, and operational workflows.
- Develop reusable reliability tooling using Python, SQL/KQL, PowerShell, or Bash .




- Improve dashboards, alerts, telemetry, and production diagnostics.
- Analyze incidents and contribute to RCA and permanent engineering fixes.
- Identify operational toil and convert repetitive activities into automation.
- Support pipeline deployments, production validation, and reliability improvements.
- Partner with onsite Data SRE and engineering teams during critical production investigations.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years in SRE, Data Engineering, MLOps, Production Engineering, or Platform Engineering .
- Strong Python automation and SQL skills.
- Experience managing/supporting production AI/ML or data pipelines .
- Experience troubleshooting distributed production systems.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, telemetry, incident management, and RCA.
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Kusto/KQL and Azure Data Explorer .
- Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Spark .
- Azure cloud services.
- CI/CD and Azure DevOps/Git.
- Experience building reliability, diagnostic, or self-healing automation.
