Role- Data Science Architect – Capital Markets/Risk

Experience: 6–12 Years

Location: India – Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

- 6–12 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Quantitative Analytics, Risk Analytics, or related BFSI roles.
- Strong Capital Markets domain expertise with good understanding of financial products, markets, trading, risk management, regulatory reporting, or investment processes.
- CFA or FRM certification strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Predictive Analytics, and AI concepts.
- Experience working on analytics and data science initiatives with understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Ability to define, review, and guide solution architectures for analytics and data-driven applications.
- Good understanding of data platforms, data engineering concepts, and analytical ecosystems.
- Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and customers in consulting or advisory roles.
- Experience conducting workshops, requirements gathering, solution discussions, and executive presentations.




- Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical analytics and technology solutions.

Good to Have

- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, and contemporary analytics platforms.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or related analytics technologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP-based analytics environments.
- Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, and pre-sales engagements.
- Experience working with global banks, asset managers, exchanges, consulting firms, or financial institutions.
- MBA from a premier institution with specialization in Finance, Analytics, or Strategy.

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) preferred.
- MBA from a premier institution such as IIMs preferred.
