Role Description The Data Engineering Intern role at Meritshot is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The intern will assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows that support analytics and reporting needs across the organization. Daily tasks include working with data engineers to collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, supporting data modeling efforts, and ensuring data quality and consistency.

The intern will collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions,



document processes, and contribute to performance improvements. This role offers hands-on experience in a data-driven environment, with guidance and feedback to support skilled growth in data engineering.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in data-focused skills, including Data Analytics and Data Analysis, to interpret and derive insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to apply Analytical Skills to solve problems, optimize data workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Competence in Data Management practices, such as organizing, cleaning, and maintaining datasets for reliability and accessibility.
- Understanding of Data Modeling concepts to help design efficient, scalable data structures that support reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python or Java).
- Knowledge of databases and basic ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is beneficial.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Noida.
