About The Role The Senior Data Engineer role at Kake offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to lead data-driven initiatives in a dynamic, remote environment. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics, reporting, and advanced modeling efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data science, or data engineering, with the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and engineers, to translate business needs into effective data solutions. This role also entails ensuring data quality and integrity, building robust data models, and contributing to the continuous improvement of data practices across the organization.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering.



Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL databases are essential.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar are required, along with experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to interpret complex business questions and translate them into clear, data-driven insights.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively in a remote setting. The role demands the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
