Data Engineer opportunities (AWS) - Junior, Senior & Lead

We are building a team of Data Engineers to join a global COE for a world-renowned FMCG brand headquartered in the USA.

4 opportunities available for Junior Data Engineer, Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer and Lead Data Engineer to work on AWS cloud and Gen AI solutions in their Mumbai based COE.

Minimum 12 month freelance contracts, hybrid working in Mumbai (3 days per week), hourly rates in USD.

Experience with Databricks is mandatory for these positions.

Key experience required

Experience building and implementing scalable data solutions

Experience with AWS cloud-based data solutions

Experience with Gen AI solutions (Gemini, Genie, Kiro)

Management of data pipelines and ensure data quality





Optimize data storage and retrieval

Technical stack

Programming: Python, Py Spark, SQL

ETL & Integration: Databricks (Mandatory), Aecor Soft/Data Sphere,

Data Warehousing : SCD Types, Fact & Dimensions, Star Schema, ETL

Data Modeling: Erwin (Optional)

Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum

AWS Cloud Services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena

Gen AI exposure: Gemini/Genie/Kiro etc.

Supporting Technologies: Databricks Jobs, Airflow

Visualization (Optional): Power BI (Optional), Tableau (Optional), Gen BI (Optional)
