- Design, develop, and support data engineering solutions using GCP, Big Data, NoSQL, and relational/non-relational databases.
- Work with various data stores including document, column-family, graph, and other distributed database technologies.
- Develop and maintain data solutions using GCP tools such as BigQuery and BigTable, along with technologies such as HBase and Hive.
- Design and develop database schemas, including XML/JSON schema development and reuse.
- Perform database development and support for OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Develop complex SQL queries and perform SQL query performance tuning and optimization.




- Work with data modeling tools such as ERStudio and ERWin.
- Develop data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Apply knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and multi-tiered application architectures.
- Work on database administration, data maintenance, replication, high availability, encryption, storage formats, and data management processes.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Follow software delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, TDD, or Waterfall.
- Contribute to infrastructure design and performance optimization, including storage and network-attached infrastructure.
